Health & Safety

Meridian Marine is upgrading their OH&S procedures to comply with Work Safe BC and Lloyd's Safety requirements. Our employees have recently completed their WORK SAFE BC training for Confined Space Entry, Fall Arrest, Respirator Tests, Hearing Tests. ISO Certifications

Meridian Marine has updated their Lloyd's Quality certificate to ISO 9001:2008, which will continue to be audited and renewed annually. In addition, we will be applying for our ISO 18001, Lloyd's Safety certification, in the near future.

Latest Projects

SMIT Marine have contracted Meridian Marine to install sewage treatment plants into seven of their ship docking tug boats. SeaBridge Marine Barges from China floated off and being prepared for new Owners.

  • Fabricate and install Crane Boom Cradle
• Pollution Boom relocation
  • Gauge the reel support framing from current location on deck
  • Weld down framing in new location
• Cargo Tank Lid Ullage Hatch Installation (12 total)
  • Insert Ullage hatches into existing cargo hatch lids
  • This may be done off site as cargo tank lids can be removed.
• Insert doubler plates in deck (2 locations) for hydraulic lines running to Crane and Pollution Boom.
